Based in the heart of West Sussex since 2013, Dylan Group supply a variety of Robinia products throughout the UK to the landscape industry where this unique hardwood has been incorporated into architectural designs. In conjunction, the company also design, manufacture and supply a comprehensive range of hardwood timber playground equipment (conforming to BS EN 1176). This, either directly to various business sectors, to our associate company, Playsafe Playgrounds Ltd, or the UK’s other leading play companies.
Robinia timber (Black Locust/False Acacia) wood is extremely hard, resistant to rot and extremely durable, making it a prized resource for architectural designs, including various types of play equipment. The wood can be hand-crafted to make a variety of designs that are unique and totally bespoke. The architectural structures, designs and equipment can be manufactured to specifically harmonise perfectly with the natural environment, thus utilising this hardwood timber to its maximum potential.

Natural Robinia poles are available in lengths up to 10 metres and are supplied in diameters ranging from 60mm to 250mm. Our Premium poles are sanded to a playgrade standard whilst specifically being selected and graded to contain the minimum amount of knots. Naturally curved poles are available.
Planed all round boards are supplied in 2400mm lengths in standard widths up to 200mm at various thicknesses.
